SOVEREIGN AMERICA: A Prayer Guide & Workbook
Praying Through the Nine Levels of Delegated Authority
Stand with Jesus as a co-laborer in intercession for your nation.
America is not in the hands of politicians. It is in the hands of God—and He is calling His people to pray.
This guide invites you into the Tabernacle framework of intercession, where you stand at the Altar of Incense alongside Jesus, the Chief Intercessor, lifting every sphere of authority from the Lord and before the Lord. Government rests on His shoulders. Your prayers matter.
What's Inside
Nine levels of delegated authority, from the nation to the individual:
- The Nation — The United States as a constitutional republic under God
- My State — Governors, legislatures, courts, and state stewardship
- My County — Commissioners, sheriffs, infrastructure, and local services
- My Township — Land stewardship and community foundations
- My City or Village — Where daily life is formed and neighbors gather
- My Neighborhood — The garden God has placed you in
- My Home — A dwelling place for His presence
- My Family — God's first institution and covenant community
- The Individual — Known by name, called by God
How It Works
Each level includes:
- Biblical teaching on that sphere of authority
- Scripture anchors for your prayers
- Opening prayer to orient your heart
- Fill-in fields for your actual leaders — President, Governor, Mayor, Sheriff, City Council, neighbors you're praying for
- Prayer focus points as a checklist
- Generous space for your personal prayer notes
Research your leaders. Write their names. Pray for them by name. God hears specific prayers from specific people about specific leaders.
For Whom
This guide is designed for intercessors, prayer warriors, faithful citizens, and anyone who believes that the nation belongs to God and that the church's primary responsibility is to pray for those in authority.
Whether you're praying for the President or your township supervisor, your neighborhood or your family line—this workbook gives you structure, Scripture, and space to do the work of intercession.
A Foundation in Sovereignty
God is sovereign over the nations. He shares His sovereign authority with leaders called to be Servants of God, responsible for the stewardship of justice, security, borders, provision, the protection of families, and all humanity bearing His image.
This is what Jesus meant when He said, "Government is upon my shoulders." This is why He calls the church to pray for those in authority.
This is the work you're invited to join.
