National Identity
The Right of a Nation to Be a Nation

“And hath made of one blood all nations of men... and hath determined
the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation.”

A nation has the right to be a nation. This is not an assertion of pride; it is a recognition of design. God Himself determined the boundaries and appointed times of every people (Acts 17:26) — meaning that national distinction is not an accident of history to be dissolved, but a structure He established on purpose.
The right to be a nation includes:
✦ The right to retain its own culture and identity
✦ The right to establish and maintain its own standards
✦ The right to govern according to its own principles and values
✦ The right to determine its own future
✦ The right to protect its people from dissolution into a global monoculture
When a nation loses its identity, it loses its capacity to steward itself. Culture is not mere preference — it is the visible expression of a people's character, their values, their way of ordering life. When a nation surrenders this to an agenda that denies the validity of national identity altogether, it surrenders the very ground on which all other stewardship stands.
“Every nation for its own people” is not selfishness. It is sustainability — the model that allows every nation, every people, to flourish according to their own character and calling. A wealthy nation is not obligated to bankrupt itself to rescue a poorly governed one. A strong nation is not obligated to weaken itself to lift another. This is not cruelty; it is principle. When each nation stewards its own people well, the world flourishes. When nations are pressured to abandon their people's welfare for the sake of an external agenda, all suffer.

These stewardship responsibilities — safety, provision, justice, righteousness, economic wisdom, the protection of family, the preservation of identity — belong to no single hemisphere, no single ideology. They are universal, right for every nation, every people, every age, whether a nation is led by many or by one. They flow from the nature of God Himself. A nation that orders itself according to these principles stands on solid ground. A nation that abandons them falls, regardless of its wealth, its power, or the promises of those who would remake it.
God appointed the nations their boundaries.
No agenda has the standing to erase what He established.
